The first time I saw the word petroliana was on a financial statement and next to the asset was a fairly large dollar amount to indicate value.  My next step was to pronounce the word a few times to get it to the point to where at least I thought it sounded right.  Finally I asked myself, Petroliana, what is it?  Going to my trusted sources, Google and wikipdeia , I quickly learned that Petroliana is a category of collectibles.    Amazing are the pictures of items and the majority are related to gas stations or the petroleum industry.  Petroliana memorabilia will include a variety of items such as old gas pumps, posters and fuel advertisements, a huge assortment of enamel or tin signs, oil cans, and even old road maps.  It’s all pretty amazing stuff to me. The great thing is that petroliana collectors have some really neat man cave items that would make every man proud to own, while their spouse might think otherwise. ...

What sounds like an annual activity we normally relate to the fall harvest season across the country in about every U.S. state is quickly becoming an out of control epidemic in the cities of America.   Apple Picking is the alarming increase of phone thefts that are occurring, particularly Apple products and mostly the iPhone. I think everyone has the urge and desire to want to get ahead and experience better things in life.  Whether it's improving things at home with the family, advancing at your work and your job, expanding your knowledge or your education, improving health or financial situations, running a household, stay-at-home moms, starting a new venture, plus more, we all desire better things for ourselves and for others.  But let's face it because we know early on that we have an entire lifetime to get things done, but time passes by, months turn into years and before we know it those good intentions begin to fade, unless we find something or someone to re-ignite the flame.
