Beginner Effective Copy Tips

Hi There,

Do you think all the success stories you see online

are the result of people creating brand new content of their own?

Me neither.

What I learned today is a proven way to create your own success, to model others.

I didn’t say copy.

To model and duplicate, using your own style and words, using the basics

of a concept, product, or system, to achieve positive results.

To model someone happens all around us and we really

don’t pay much attention to it because it’s accepted as normal.

Case in point:

• How many different type chocolate chip cookie recipes are there?  

In May 2022 the Search for 'best' chocolate chip cookie returned an estimated 1.1 billion results.

• How about automobiles, running shoes, golf clubs, swim suits, hats, pens, computers, cell phones, chairs, and more out there?

Here's what to do:

Find successful people online that you can identify with and like,
then read and watch what they do.

Are they really that good, or maybe they got a little boost along the

way and duplicated some of what they observed...and it worked!

Here's what I learned:

Model what successful people do online.  Then design and create content

in your own way, using your own words, conveying your own message.

I’ve done this before and I’ve seen others do it as well, but there can easily

be too much copying and not enough original copy created by others.

Take what you do online seriously and work so others can

see that by what you say, do, and what you post is yours.

Chances are good you’ve modeled some aspect of your online
business by using knowledge obtained while observing someone else.

There’s nothing wrong with that as long as it's above board.

What's wrong is when we see 'flat out copying' of content. 
That’s where things can get sticky.

What we do online is all about creating trust and do what we can

to promote a high level of trust in our copy.

When you post content it has to be real and it has to be you. 

Social media are entertainment platforms and content that's
original to stand out from the others can create trust quickly.

We're also educators with a role in relationship building that 
plays a big part in building online creditability.
