3 Things That Can Hold You Back From Online Success
Things That Can Hold You Back
From Online Success
Starting something new is always a little tense, especially when making money is involved.
Starting an online business can be an amazing and exciting journey, but like anything else, it can also be riddled with the unexpected potholes in the road.
You won’t get everything nailed down and correct when you’re first starting your business, but that’s alright. A key thing is that you have a plan (written out in your own handwriting) and know what it is you are working to accomplish to meet your online success goals. Do you have your own product that you’re selling on an e-commerce site? Do you want to be an Affiliate Marketer or maybe prefer Direct Response Marketing? Are you marketing and selling your own digital products, an e-course or coaching programs?
Keep in mind, no matter what it is you are aiming to accomplish online, you must be cognizant of 3 things that can interfere and hold people back from achieving success online. If you can work to avoid these 3 common bumps in the road, you will find the way to reach your goals and can achieve the success you want.
#1: What if I’m Afraid to Fail?
Hello! Everyone on earth is at least a little afraid of failure, especially those who are seeking business success. It’s human nature to have a little fear of taking on risks, failing, and falling flat on your face. Now if you want to truly be a successful online entrepreneur you will have to endure failure. Admit to yourself that becoming an online entrepreneur will come with challenges, surprises, setbacks and failures. Admit these to yourself before you take one step, otherwise you can run the risk of losing courage as the work gets difficult. When not prepared to accept he unknown, it’s not a question of if you will fail, but when. Keep in mind, as long as you know what you’re goals are, failure shouldn’t scare you to the point of throwing in the towel.
#2: You know I’m not an Expert!
You do not need letters designating a certain degree or level of education after your name to make money online. To practice medicine, law, accounting, engineering, military service you do for obvious reasons, but to become an expert online does not require you to be certified in anything other than your own life experience. If you are good at helping people save and invest their money, then you can make a great living teaching people online. Same thing goes for fitness, baking, music, fishing, writing, and more. There’s not degree needed to be a business expert to sell products online. If you have experience or expertise in a certain area and you know how to get results, that’s all the discipline you need. Don’t let credentials keep you from living out your online business dreams.
#3: OK…I Have Things to Figure out
Everyone has things to figure out. Do you think Michael Gates knew everything about computers and software before he started Microsoft? Do you think Mark Cuban knew everything about live streaming before he started his internet company and sold it for billions of dollars? If you’re waiting for the “perfect time” to launch an online business…you will be waiting forever. No one is ever 100% ready to take the next step. You need to have faith that with hard work, you’ll be able to learn what you need to be successful. And what you need to do right now is just take the a big step. There will never be a perfect time to start your online business—but the right time is always now.
