Special Events Will Shape Your Life

I received this message from a business friend who is a pretty special person.  I've shorten it some, but his message is clear. 

He wrote this as he prepared for a business event this weekend, and as he nears the event opening you can feel in his words, where he's coming from.  For anyone in business, or in the public arena that speak to a large group, you're aware of the time, the preparation, and emotion it takes to lift a crowd. He does it every time.  

Here he is, David Wood:

"As I'm sitting here in Denver, getting ready for the biggest and most powerful event we've ever done, all I can think about is the people who are going to leave this weekend a different person than they came."

"See, I know something you may not know – yet."

"Have you ever been driving down the road, listening to a song, and as the words flow into your ears, suddenly – as if nothing else in the world exists in that moment – you realize something about yourself that you never knew before."
