Imagine what Dorothy felt like when she was told,  follow the yellow brick road!   Well, it might not be very long before you'll be able to follow the blue gravel path ,  or the lime-green walk-way . This is a picture of a solar-powered footpath in Christ's Pieces, a public park in Cambridge, England. A new innovative way to produce a cost-effective method to resurface areas of walkways so they will glow at night.   The new surface has a polyurethane base, with light-absorbing particles that are fixed to the old walk-way surface, creating a waterproof, anti-slip finish.
